Position Overview:

Z's Casino, a premier entertainment destination in Pullman, WA, is seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our dynamic team as Casino Card Dealers. As a Card Dealer, you will be responsible for facilitating various card games, ensuring fair play, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the vibrant gaming atmosphere at Z's Casino.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Game Facilitation: Conduct various card games such as poker, blackjack, Pai Gow and others according to established procedures and rules.
  2. Customer Interaction: Interact with guests in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, creating an enjoyable and engaging gaming experience.
  3. Ensure Fair Play: Monitor game integrity, enforce casino regulations, and ensure compliance with gaming laws and regulations.
  4. Cash Handling: Accurately handle chips, cash, and other forms of currency during game transactions, ensuring precision and adherence to financial procedures.
  5. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the gaming area clean, organized, and presentable at all times, including the gaming tables and surrounding areas.
  6. Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or disputes promptly and effectively, maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other casino staff members, including supervisors and security personnel, to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on gaming industry trends, rules, and regulations, participating in ongoing training and development programs as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Previous experience as a card dealer is preferred, although we are willing to train individuals with a strong desire to learn and succeed in the role.
  2. Skills: Exceptional math skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also highly valued.
  3. Certification: Must obtain and maintain any required gaming licenses or certifications as mandated by regulatory authorities, including the ability to obtain a Washington State Gambling Commission License.
  4. Training Provided: Comprehensive training will be provided to all hired candidates to ensure proficiency in card dealing techniques, casino procedures, and customer service standards.
  5. Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
  6. Integrity: Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and reliability are paramount in maintaining the trust of both guests and management.
  7. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, as well as bend, stoop, and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
